haiii!! welcome to my little corner of the internet!! i'm coopi and i live here now :3 this is where i put things when my brain won't stop going brrr about something — code i made, thoughts i had, whatever's making me spin in happy circles this week. pull up a chair!! or don't!! i'm not your boss!! that's the whole point of this site actually!!
1. About me
i'm coopi—genderfluid, neurodivergent, and powered by hyperfixation and vibes. my brain does not have a medium setting — it's either "obsess over this one thing for three weeks straight" or "stare at the ceiling unable to think a single thought." there is no in-between!! my watchlist is a graveyard of half-watched anime and my interests rotate like a slot machine but when something hits?? oh you will NEVER hear the end of it!!
things that have a permanent grip on me:
- emacs!!
- okay so. the thing about emacs is you can literally just change
it. like, the editor is yours. you don't like how something works? you
just… write some lisp and now it works how you want. it's YOUR editor now!!
i have email and irc and rss and a terminal and a therapist (
M-x doctor) all inside it. this entire site was made in emacs with org mode. i live here!! this is my house now!! - lisp!!
- the parentheses are NOT confusing, they are beautiful, and i WILL die on this hill. this xkcd lives rent-free in my head at all times. something about the way lisp programs are just… lisp data?? homoiconicity?? it makes my brain go brrrrrrr in a good way
- guix!!
- imagine if your entire operating system was a reproducible, declarative, functional program that you could roll back to any point in time. that's guix. i used nixos before and it was fine but guix just clicked — everything is so elegant!! the scheme configuration?? chef's kiss!!
- anarchism!!
- i believe that every person should be free to govern their own life and that no human has the right to impose their rule over another. full stop. no kings, no bosses, no borders — just people looking out for each other because that's what people should do. i'm not great at articulating all of this out loud (the words are THERE they just refuse to leave my mouth!!) but the belief is very real and very loud in my head at all times
i am also kept alive by:
- anime and manga (ask me what i'm watching and watch me short-circuit)
- being absolutely feral on the internet :3
- the unshakable belief that i could learn anything if i hyperfixated on it hard enough
- cats. obviously. do i even need to say this one.
- vibes. solely and exclusively vibes.

code i wrote that i think is neat!! deeply unhinged technical deep-dives!! opinions about software that nobody asked for!! there's no theme here — i just yell about whatever's making my brain go spinny and hope someone goes waow, dats cool!!
